This is a construction program, that provides a home for families living in extreme poverty.
El Salvador 500 started in 2009, and it has been built on a foundation of faith. Our mission is to build safe housing for families who live in the poorest rural areas of El Salvador, and to put God’s love into action. The beneficiaries live in houses built with inappropriate materials; such as plastic, bamboo, mud or old and moldy metal sheets. They have dirt floors and sleep on beds made out of rope and old pieces of wood.
Faith-built homes transforming rural El Salvador
Donating a home cost $3,500.00. This includes the transportation of materials to remote areas, and the complete construction of a house, that is made entirely of concrete with a metal door, and windows. This blessing is life changing, because it will last for over 30 years.
